Tennessee State Veterans’ Home – Knoxville is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee nursing staff on site. This in-house, full-time position covers night and day shifts, including alternating weekends, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring regulatory compliance.

RN Supervisor Full - Time / (3) Twelve-Hour Night Shifts 7p to 7a, Alternating Weekends.

RN Supervisor Full - Time / (3) Twelve- Hour Shifts 11a to 11p, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and coordinate our nursing staff. The Supervisor RN will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care, providing guidance and support to the nursing team, and maintaining compliance with all regulations and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must have a current & active RN License.
• Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare or nursing home setting with management and /or supervisory experience

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance
• Ensure that all patient care plans are followed and that documentation is accurate and complete

• Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, and reorder as needed
