Civmec is looking for experienced Rigging Supervisors with a proven track record in delivering rigging solutions and managing vertical projects within the resources sector. This position presents a great opportunity to progress your career while playing a key role in our management team, contributing to both ongoing and upcoming major projects.

This is a prime opportunity to join our Construction and Maintenance divisions and make a meaningful impact.

The Role
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and dismantling of rigging equipment.
  • Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of riggers, providing guidance and support
  • Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
  • Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting
  • Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace;
About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience working on a large-scale construction and/or maintenance projects in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of rigging equipment, load calculations, and lifting techniques.
  • Managing and driving completions and work crews.
  • Well-honed project planning and scheduling skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and stakeholder management
