Job summary

Resorts World New York City is seeking a Revenue Audit Supervisor to oversee daily audit activities, mentor staff, and ensure strict internal controls across casino departments. You will prepare daily revenue/expense reports, test compliance, and develop SOPs while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires supervisory experience in casino audit, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to obtain a gaming license. Candidates with an Accounting background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain a gaming license.
• Associates degree in Accounting preferred.
• Three years’ experience in Casino Gaming or Casino Audit with one year in a supervisory capacity.

Job Responsibilities

Supervises and trains Revenue Audit Clerks.

Counts, audits and balances all revenue and expense related documents with revenue received and expenses paid.

License Level: This is a gaming level position.

Essential Duties/Core Competencies

Oversees daily audit work by Revenue Audit Clerks.

Compiles reports for Casino Departments for review by Manager Revenue Audit.

Assists with testing for compliance and supervise audits on various casino departments.

Ensures Casino internal controls are being followed.

Assists in developing and maintain checklists for completion of work in accordance with policies and procedures and internal controls.

Prepares Daily Audit Report.

Assists with daily audits.

Coaches, mentors and trains subordinates.

Assists in the development and implementation of SOP’s.

Prepares daily revenue and expense reports.

Maintains STRICT confidentiality of internal activities.

Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.

Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.

Work as shared services between other properties as needed.

Work/Educational Experience

Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.

Associates degree in Accounting preferred.

Three (3) years’ experience in Casino Gaming or Casino Audit with one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
