Job Overview

This role involves supervising and providing care at the point of care to patients within a unit. Responsibilities include evaluating nursing interventions, coordinating and delegating tasks to licensed nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians, and serving as a resource for patient care assessment, planning, and evaluation. The supervisor collaborates with leadership to identify staff strengths and weaknesses and evaluates staff performance.

Qualifications

• Required: Registered nurse diploma, current RN license, BLS certification, 1 year of relevant RN experience or 2 years as an LPN in acute care.
• Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, 2 years of RN experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work under pressure, excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency with computers, and ability to manage priorities and work in stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities
