Tenet South Carolina is seeking a Radiology Technologist Supervisor in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The role supports the Director of Imaging Services and oversees daily technical activities in the diagnostic imaging area.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years radiology experience, ARRT registry, SCRQSA certification, and BLS CPR within 7 days of hire. This is a staff, full-time position with 40 hours weekly and 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school with a Bachelor's degree or working toward one.
• 3–5 years of radiologic experience required.
• ARRT registry is required; SCRQSA certification is required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the daily technical activities in the diagnostic section of Imaging Services.
• Monitors equipment operation, repair status, and performs quality control of equipment and accessories.
• Supervises the radiation monitoring program and plans the Performance Improvement program.
• Oversees upgrades of the radiology information system by PACS/RIS staff.
• Performs related duties as required.

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director in planning, supervising, and controlling the daily technical activities of the diagnostic section of Imaging Services. Assists with supervising, directing, and evaluating the activities of the staff. Responsible for setting standards and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of care delivered. Has administrative responsibility for assigned departments and for program development within the Department. Work in collaboration with Imaging Director. The individual plans, coordinates, and maintains the Performance Improvement program for Imaging Services as well as supervising the quality control testing of equipment and accessories used in the department. Continually pursue the development of programs and services to increase service utilization by physicians and patients.
