Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a Radiology Technologist Supervisor to oversee the Imaging department's daily operations, ensuring accurate, timely quality imaging. You will mentor technologists, orient new staff, and uphold safety and service standards.

The role emphasizes education, competency assessment, and continuous quality improvement while delivering excellent patient care across all imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT license and TMB General Radiologic Technologist license.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CT certification required; MRI certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification and ability to care for all ages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Imaging department at procedural and administrative levels.
• Mentor radiology technologists and coordinate orientation and competency assessments.
• Coordinate ongoing education and competency assessment for Radiology staff.
• Ensure safety procedures are observed at the procedural level.
• Perform Radiology procedures as required and ensure high quality imaging.

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations. The Radiology Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Imaging department at the procedural and administrative level. Ensures that quality imaging procedures are being performed in an accurate and timely manner. Will act as a mentor to all technologists. The position is responsible for orientation and competency assessment of new Radiology employees and the ongoing education and competency assessment of other Radiology employees. Acts as a facilitator for excellent customer services of Radiology patients and educates staff as indicated. Ensures that all safety procedures are being observed at the procedural level. Will perform Radiology procedures as required.

Required Skills

High School Diploma / GED

• Associates Degree: Required
• Bachelors Degree: Preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license: Required
• Texas Medical Board-General Radiologic Technologist license: Required
• Diagnostic X-ray: Prefer 5 years’ experience
• Computed Tomography: Prefer 3 years’ Experience
• CT Certification: Required
• MRI Certification: Preferred
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of continuous quality improvement ideology.
