The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years in technical roles, and 3+ years in leadership, plus an A&P license. Proficiency in MS Office and strong attention to detail are essential.

SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the effectiveness, efficiency, and integrity of the day-to-day operations of the MRO site. The person will be a hands-on leader providing direction, coaching, and management to the team. The position is both strategic and detail-oriented, with proven operations, supply chain, and technical experience in an aerospace MRO environment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Monitor and manage timeclock and attendance exceptions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.Actively participate in future growth plans for their team.Hold their team accountable for their production levels and organizational expectations.Oversee daily operations in the machine shop to ensure efficiency and quality.Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of machinery.Troubleshoot machinery and production issues promptly.Developing and testing effective automated and manual systems.Provide all new and/or reoccurring training and technical support to machinists.Monitor and assist production flow of components.Communicate with other team leads daily on support opportunities.Attend training courses as required.Be involved with new capabilities within department.Utilize specialty and hand tools daily.Read and interpret technical data and drawings.Verify that all components are tested to the appropriate specifications to ensure airworthiness.Document maintenance records of all repair work orders performed.Strong Verbal and written communications skills.Planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting.Computer skills necessary to learn and / or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, project, email, and web-based application.Engineering technical support for cross-functional teams.Engineering responsibilities as assigned/required.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree6 years of relevant/technical work experience and 3+ years of leadership experienceOR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.High mechanical aptitude required.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling applications.Flexibility to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements.Ability to function in fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.Attention to small details as well as strong math skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:8+ years of operational work experience.6+ years in the aviation industry.OTHER:The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
