Job summary

Monogram-Food-Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee one or more production lines, ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and efficient output. The role requires reading spec sheets and maintaining clean, safe work areas while guiding line workers and coordinating with maintenance as needed.

You will train staff, monitor production metrics, and manage daily tasks such as changeovers and packaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

This position will supervise in running of a production line(s). The individual will be responsible for working in a safe manner and inspecting the line for any safety hazards prior to and during production. The Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring daily safety report cards are always in line with workers' possession and being properly filled out each day and collected at the end of the shift. The Supervisor is responsible for turning in their line workers' safety report cards to their supervisor at the end of the shift. The position also requires an individual to read and understand specification sheets and ensure that GMP’s are being followed. Also, responsible for producing products in an efficient manner, performing changeovers, packing products and transferring the products to a new location. The individual will be responsible for running a balance of the following functions: production, machine repair/trouble shooting, and assist the Production Manager as needed. This position will involve running equipment and performing a degree of maintenance. It is important that this position possesses the willingness to accept change and be proactive rather than reactive.
