Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Assign production operators to specific jobs to accomplish production or workload schedules.
  • Direct production processes such as inert material preparing, screening and blending, pelleting, melting, loading, explosive preparation assembly, packing, shipping, repairing, and machining.
  • Monitor quality of production and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Assure subordinates receive adequate safety training and hazardous waste handling and that pertinent regulations are followed.
  • Establish employee morale and maintain discipline coordinating with higher authority when appropriate. Promote and maintain a high level of housekeeping.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned production processes, equipment, and materials.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and technical procedures. Ability to input, format, and process data. Assist in writing reports and procedures. Ability to effectively gather and process information and support responses to questions from managers and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and apply a variety of technical instructions in text, diagram, or mathematical form, and deal with process input and output variables.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of ISO Quality Systems and continuous improvement tools such as Process Maps, SPC, FMEA, and Control Plans.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required, Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years related experience.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $55,040 - $82,560.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
