Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Finish Department at MasterBrand in Jasper, Indiana. As a Finish Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in our production facility.
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to meet departmental and plant goals in safety, production, and quality
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and initiate maintenance requests as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
- Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and best practices
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for upper management
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate materials for production
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing practices
- Address and resolve employee concerns or conflicts in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field (Preferred)
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve production goals and maintain quality standards
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and Lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Experience with production scheduling and inventory management
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety protocols
- Ability to read measurements, work with numbers, and use various production tools
- Physical capability to lift, bend, push-pull, and move materials up to 50lbs when necessary
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
