Entegris is seeking a Supervisor for Product Development Engineering on the Gas/Filet Diffuser pilot line. You will manage a fast-paced R&D pilot line that develops prototype gas filters and diffusers, procurement, and scheduling using SAP.

You will lead a small team of Pilot Line Technicians, work with engineering for continuous improvement, track production progress, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree in a technical field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing setting with leadership experience.
• Good organizational and leadership skills with multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Excel, SAP; English reading/writing mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a pilot production line responsible for products sold directly to customers.
• Direct management of Engineering Techs with on-the-floor presence.
• Support continuous improvement, new product introduction, and process validations.
• Track prototype/production builds and communicate delivery dates.
• Troubleshoot defects and safety issues and improve production flow.
• Coordinate material movement, SOPs, and specifications with engineers.
• Coordinate vendor prototype builds and site visits when required.
• Maintain 6S andLEAN practices and ensure PPE compliance.

Job Description

The Role:

ThePilot LineSupervisorwill be tasked withfullymanaging a high-paced R&D pilot line that is developing prototype Gas Filters and Diffusers for specific and direct customer needs.The individualunderstands andoperatesat a high technical level, as well as in a buyer/planner role toprocurematerials and schedule builds.The position requires technical ability, teamwork, communication, problem-solving skills, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The position will have a small number of Pilot Line Technicians reporting into this role.

ThePLSupervisorworks directly with engineeringto make continuous improvements to various prototype products in the GMC Pilot line. In addition, thePLSupervisorwill help trackand report progress of prototype production,orderand track delivery schedule of required subcomponents, andmanage production schedule based on SAP generated forecast.They will work directly with the engineering team tosolve issues that may arise during production.They will work directly withprocurement/supply chain to evaluate new vendors as needed to ensure adequatedeliverysupply.

ThePLSupervisoralso will have responsibilitytoassistin creation of top level BOM's and routings.They will also look for ways to improve the production process and flow, whether through tool layout, SOP updates, minor equipmentmaintenanceandother floor related required tasks

What You’ll Do:

• Day-to-day oversight of apilot production lineresponsible for products sold directly to customers
• Direct managementof Engineering Techswhich requireson-the-floor presence onmanufacturingline.
• Aidsengineering in continuous improvement and new product introduction including support of new product design, process development,equipmentand process validations.
• Tracks, monitors,and communicates status ofprototype/production buildsin progress. Communicate expected delivery dates to customer service/product management.Reacts to changing customer needs.
• Troubleshoot andidentifypotential solutions fordefects, safetyissuesor general operating inefficiencies within the production processes.
• Able toutilizecomputer systems tomanagematerial inventory movement, processtransactionsand quality management processes.
• Able tocreate/edit/followspecifications, work orders, andSOP’sin coordination with development engineers.Will also provide feedback, updates and assist in redliningsamedocuments.
• Work directly with vendors to coordinate prototype builds, including vendor site visits ifrequired
• Excellent attention to detail, good organization, communication skills and capable of leading and directing other team members.Coordinate meetings asrequired.
• Able to work inteamenvironment and cross functional teams to troubleshoot issues,identifyand implement corrective actions.
• Safely follow standard operating procedures including but not limited to material handling, record keeping, process spec and ensuring all team members are adhering to proper PPE.
• Create and Update Standard Operating Procedures.
• Adhere and promote Entegris PACE Values.
• Maintaina clean work environment following all our 6S activities.
• UnderstandandpromoteLean Manufacturing Conceptsis a Plus.

• Compensation: $76,000- $95,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
