Position Overview

As skilled clinicians and respected collaborators, our PAs Make It Possible day and night. Our PAs bring inspiring commitment and provide high quality care to every patient. We are seeking a Supervisor Physician Assistant to manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations for the PA team in the OBGYN Service Line.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and clinical oversight of the PA team.
• Work under supervision of a Chief PA and/or Director, Dept. of PA Services to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and credentialing guidelines.
• Promote a positive, nurturing, and stimulating work environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and metrics in conjunction with supervising MD and Chief PA.
• Collaborate with the Chief PA to create and maintain schedules, including managing overtime.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be proficient in:

• Basic Antepartum Care
• Basic GYN Emergency Care
• First Assisting for C-sections

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus up to one year of post-degree coursework and/or internship.
• Degree or major in Certified Physician Assistant.
• Current NYS licensure.
• NCCPA certification.
• DEA registration number.
• Minimum of five years of previous experience.

Work Details

This is a Full-Time position with rotating days, nights, and weekends (varied 12-hour shifts) at NYP Westchester in Bronxville, near Metro North Station.

Additional Information

• Salary Range: $180,000 - $216,000 annually.
