ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in safe, efficient medication dispensing. You will manage workflow, assign tasks, train staff, monitor performance and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering patient- and employee-satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5 years’ pharmacy experience, and active state licenses (Ohio and/or Michigan) plus PTCB/ExCPT credentials; CPhT-Adv preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 5 years of experience in pharmacy settings.
• Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician license if Ohio.
• Active Michigan Board of Pharmacy Technician license if working in Michigan.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) exam.
• CPhT-Adv certification through PTCB.

Job Summary

As the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, you oversee a team of pharmacy technicians and ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications by managing workflow, assigning tasks, training staff, monitoring performance and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations. In this role, you actively participate in creating an environment fostering patient, family, physician and employee satisfaction. SCHEDULE

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday -10 hr shift 8:00 pm – 6:30 am No weekends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 5 years of experience
• Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License if working in Ohio
• Active Michigan Board of Pharmacy Technician License if working in Michigan
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (either PTCB or ExCPT (NHA) exam permitted)
• Achievement of CPhT-Adv certification through PTCB.

• Experience with medical terminology and pharmacy software systems
