Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System seeks a Pharmacy Technician Lead to guide pharmacy operations and mentor staff in a hospital setting. The role requires substantial clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care within a collaborative environment.

The incumbent must possess at least five years as a Pharmacy Technician, with 1–3 years in supervisory roles, and hold a current certificate from a national assessment-based program (PTCB) or equivalent.

Complexity of Work: This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships. The incumbent must be able to lead others and take appropriate action when required.

Required Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; typically has one (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience and/or leadership. A strong working knowledge of pharmacy operations is required.

Other Information: In addition to the below registration and certification, must have a current certificate from, at least, one additional national assessment-based certificate program (PTCB) or equivalent.
