Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to oversee technician personnel and pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting. You will partner with pharmacy leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient daily workflows.

The role requires a CPHT/PTCB certification, a Florida RPT license, a High School Diploma, and at least five years as a Pharmacy Technician with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) - PTCB; Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL).
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician; typically 1–3 years supervisory experience and/or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, directs and resources Pharmacy Technicians to support department operations and goals.
• Provides feedback on daily assignments to ensure work is followed up.
• Manages day-to-day operations and auditing of operational pharmacy processes.
• Provides end-of-month operational metric summaries to leadership.
• Contributes to departmental fiscal planning, cost-reduction and revenue recovery.
• Mentors and coaches technician personnel and participates in recruitment/hiring.
• Assists leadership with time and attendance, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Leads resolution of complex issues and oversees training quality.
• Acts as liaison to Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
