Job summary

UCHealth Leprino Building AMC in Aurora, CO seeks a Pharmacy Administration Supervisor to oversee daily operations of Pharmacy Technicians and Buyers. This onsite role, in Days shift, includes coordinating staffing, training, and ensuring adherence to policies and patient safety.

Expect 3+ years PHAT experience with leadership; graduate technician preferred. Compensation ranges with experience and is paid hourly onsite at UCHealth.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED; pharmacy technician program preferred.
  • PHAT certification from State Board of Pharmacy.
  • At least 3 years of PHAT experience; leadership preferred: 2+ years.

Department: UCHlth Pharmacy Administration

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:

Supervises the daily activities of Pharmacy Technicians and/or Pharmacy Buyers. May perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician and/or Buyer as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
  • Drive pharmacy departmental strategic initiatives related to medication purchasing, inventory, cost savings and cost recovery, process and project management.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, regulatory and patient safety standards.
  • Supports execution on assigned administrative, systems, financial, and operational projects.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
  • PHAT (Pharmacy Technician) certification from State Board of Pharmacy.
  • 3 years with PHAT (Pharmacy Technician Certification). Preferred: 2 years of leadership experience.
