Flowserve seeks an experienced Payroll Team Lead to provide payroll expertise and lead operations focused on the German-speaking region. The role oversees payroll processes, data audits, and employee tax setup, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in international payroll, fluent German, and strong leadership skills to coach and develop the payroll team in a remote-friendly setup across Central Europe. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance field.
• 5–7 years’ international payroll experience.
• Fluent German is a must.
• English or Hungarian proficiency; preference for English.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to create/maintain payroll controls.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems (Workday, Kronos, Celergo, Horizon) is an advantage

Job description

Задачи:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Lead to provide payroll expertise and lead our payroll operations with main focus on the German-speaking region. This role will be responsible for overseeing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery, conducting and tracking ongoing data audits, and maintaining employee tax setup and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate brings extensive payroll experience, a solid understanding of employment tax requirements, and proven leadership experience in managing and developing a payroll team. Ideally, the role will be based in the Czech Republic or Poland and it´s a remote role. Lead and oversee international payroll processes, including manual checks and issue resolution. Supervise, coach, and develop the payroll team. Ensure payroll tax compliance, handle notices, audits, and amendments. Maintain accurate payroll and employee tax data, including expatriates and foreign nationals. Manage third‑party payroll/tax vendors and partnership with internal stakeholders. Drive continuous process improvements and elevate complex issues as needed.
