Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support patient care philosophy and objectives aligned with professional practice standards through coordination of patient care activities.
  • Act as a key member of the leadership team, supporting care management models, pediatric nursing practice standards, legal regulations, and hospital policies.
  • Develop leadership skills and participate in professional activities to stay current in clinical practice.
  • Facilitate development and engagement of nursing and technical staff providing patient care.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; consideration for those enrolled in a BSN or completion program with an anticipated graduation date within a specified timeframe.
  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Wisconsin.
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Two to three years of technical nursing experience, including care of complex pediatric patients and supervisory experience overseeing staffing and activities.
