Job summary

Providence Swedish Mill Creek is seeking a skilled leader to supervise daily patient access operations, including registration, financial counseling, and related revenue cycle activities on site. You will develop staffing plans, enforce policies, and drive quality improvements while ensuring staff meet customer service standards and required competencies.

The role requires at least four years in healthcare registration/billing or financial counseling, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with patient access revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate all daily departmental operations.

Accountable for the supervision and delegation of all aspects of daily departmental operations. Develops and implements an operational plan that includes staffing resources, policies and procedures, and quality improvement activities. Ensure timely, accurate and compliant registration and financial counseling of all patients. Assures that all staff adheres to Swedish's customer service standards. Assures that all staff is compliant with Organization and Department required competencies. Works with department Manager to resolve problems impacting the patient access revenue cycle. Able to perform all duties of Financial Counselor, Registration Representative and Receptionist Clerk.

Required Qualifications:
