Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is seeking a Behavioral Health Supervisor to oversee clinical programs and supervise clinicians and trainees within the Family Medicine Residency. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a health care field eligible for licensing.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, LCPC or LMFT (or LMFT).
• Sixty hours of alcohol and drug education within the last five years (or within five years of initiating service).
• State licensure as an LADC preferred.
• Five years’ experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment setting (preferred).
• Two years’ experience supervising in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Supervisor is responsible for the overall programs management, operations, clinical coordination and supervision of full-time clinicians and trainees when appropriate, providing support and direction to the clinical and clerical staff regarding behavioral health workflows and scheduling needs, managing the referral queue, and being a primary point of contact for other system departments. The Behavioral Health Supervisor spends 50% of their time providing clinical services to the patient population of Family Medicine Residency to include individual and group psychotherapy and substance abuse treatment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a health care field eligible for licensing.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Completed a minimum of sixty (60) hours of alcohol and drug education within the last five (5) years or, within a maximum of five (5) years of initiating service delivery for OHH services, has completed sixty (60) hours of alcohol and drug education
• State licensure as an LADC, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, preferred.
• Five years’ experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment setting, preferred.
• Two years’ experience supervising in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting, preferred.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $68,640.00 to $85,820.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
