An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to supervise and coordinate operations within the Stormwater Management Utility. This employee supervises and coordinates operations and maintenance work within the Stormwater Management Utility (SMU) division of the Department of Water and directs and supervises staff performing these duties. The employee participates as a senior staff member for the department and provides responsible assistance to department management. Performs related duties as required. (Illustrative only. Not all positions require all KSAs listed, nor do the examples include all KSAs that may be required.)
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with five years of stormwater or sewer operation and maintenance experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role managing employees performing stormwater or sewer construction and maintenance. An Associate's degree or 18 semester credits in construction, maintenance, engineering, or related fields may substitute for up to two years of experience (excluding supervisory experience).
Military education and experience may be substituted for college coursework and apprenticeship training on a case-by-case basis, based on the ACE Military Guide.
Typically office environment, with frequent outdoor site visits; light travel required.
Must maintain physical condition for prolonged sitting, standing, walking; ability to operate a vehicle.
