Supervisor of Special Education for Early Intervention – To serve as the Supervisor of the Early Intervention Preschool Program to the Professional/Paraprofessional Special Education staff and Related Service Providers, and direct education/activities that emphasize the students/families current needs, functions, and support systems in Northampton County.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform management functions to ensure the smooth daily operations of the Early Intervention Program throughout Northampton County.
• Provide leadership and expertise to Intermediate Unit, member school district, and community partners in areas supervised.
• Make contributions to the achievement of all Intermediate Unit goals in support of the vision and mission of the Intermediate Unit.
• Demonstrate active participation and involvement with respect to staff/family and community relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Special Education Services and the Director of Special Education.
