Job summary

Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools in New Jersey seeks a Supervisor of Instruction for the 2026-2027 school year. This 12-month role oversees program administration, supervision of staff and students, and curriculum development under the Assistant Principal.

Salary starts at $134,690 with benefits. Ideal candidates hold a valid NJ Supervisor Certificate, at least five years of teaching, and strong knowledge of NJ policies and AchieveNJ.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Supervisor Certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience, part of which shall include experience developing and implementing curricular programs.
• Experience supervising secondary level academic programs and English Language Arts instruction preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff/students.
• Thorough understanding of N.J.S.A. Title 18A and N.J.A.C. 6A, AchieveNJ, as well as Educational policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, manages and oversees all phases of program administration and supervision within the high school under the direction of the Assistant Principal.
• Supervises students, faculty and support personnel as assigned.
• Assists in the development and implementation of curriculum, as well as budget preparation, and program evaluation.
