LewisGale Hospital Pulaski in Pulaski, VA is seeking a Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor to lead patient food service operations, diet office supervision, and tray line activities. You will supervise staff, maintain service standards, and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.

The role emphasizes multitasking during peak times, strong customer service, and proficiency with computer systems to manage menus and orders. Vocational or technical training is required.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical education is required.
• Previous supervisory Food Service experience, preferably 2 years in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility.
• Food safety knowledge required.
• Computer skills necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task during peak times.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor to join our team! As the Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising diet office and patient food service personnel. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• You will be responsible for supervising all patient food service activities, including patient tray line, diet office, floor stock, and reprocessing operations.

• You will maintain and improve standards of food service.

• You will assist in maintaining and improving patient food service procedures.

• You will evaluate patient menu selections and makes adjustments with diet order guidelines and patient preferences.

What Qualifications you will need:

• Vocational or Technical education required.

• Previous supervisory Food Service experience, preferably 2 years food service experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
