The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Agricultural, or Mechanical Engineering, substantial engineering experience, and necessary professional certification. The position offers an annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $170,000 depending on qualifications, along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Agricultural, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Five years of progressively complex engineering experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Valid professional engineering registration from California.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Supervisor of Field Engineering & Planning, you’ll lead a team engaged in the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, estimates, and reports for projects related to the maintenance, reconstruction, and construction of District facilities. You’ll also serve as a Project Engineer on construction projects and act as a District representative at meetings, conferences, and hearings of local, state, or federal agencies.

Annual Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 (flexible based on qualifications).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Agricultural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of increasingly complex engineering experience, two of which must have included lead or supervisory responsibilities.
• A valid certificate of registration as a professional engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
