Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. seeks a Supervisor of Diesel Maintenance for the 2nd shift to lead maintenance of trucks, trailers, and yard equipment. You will supervise Diesel Technicians and Coordinators, manage service records and parts inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will oversee timely maintenance, inspections, and repairs, and coordinate emergency repairs while promoting a safe, high-performance work culture.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years in vehicle maintenance and 5+ years in a supervisory or maintenance management role.
  • Technical Skills: Vehicle computer systems, maintenance coordination, service writing, inventory control.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Analyze metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leadership & Communication: Coaching, performance reviews, employee engagement.
  • Certifications & Special Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; TMT maintenance software; Master mechanic preferred; Class C license (A preferred).
  • DOT/Regulatory Compliance: DOT & OSHA compliance familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Maintenance Coordinators and Diesel Technicians, overseeing daily activities and training.
  • Oversee scheduled maintenance and repairs for all equipment within timelines.
  • Maintain detailed electronic records for assets for audits.
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and tracking of parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure DOT/OSHA safety regulations compliance and DVIR documentation.
  • Conduct final inspections of repairs and close out work orders in the system.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and maintenance responses for vehicles in route.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll submissions, and time-off requests.
  • Ensure EPA, DOT, and regulatory compliance.
  • Foster a safe, high-performance, engaging work environment.
  • Maintain adherence to quality standards (C-TPAT, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 45001).

In thisleadership role, you will be responsible for managing company assets,including commercial vehicles, trailers, yard switchers, forklifts,golf carts, GPS devices, and handheld scanners. You will supervisemaintenance technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintainoptimal equipment performance.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and Manage Maintenance Teams –Supervise Maintenance Coordinators and Diesel Technicians,overseeing daily activities, performance, andtraining.

  • Ensure TimelyMaintenance & Repairs – Oversee scheduled maintenanceand repairs for all company equipment, ensuring completionwithin prescribed timelines.

  • MaintainAccurate Service Records – Keep detailed electronicrecords for all assets to ensure compliance with internal andexternal audits.

  • Inventory Management –Manage ordering, receiving, and tracking of maintenance parts,tools, and equipment.

  • RegulatoryCompliance – Ensure adherence to DOT and OSHA safetyregulations, including documentation of electronic DVIRs, repairrecords, and annual inspections.

  • FinalInspections & Work Order Management – Conduct finalinspections of repairs and close out work orders in the TMT softwaresystem.

  • Accident Investigations &Compliance – Collaborate with other departments toinvestigate accidents and maintain compliance with companypolicies.

  • Administrative Oversight – Manage employee scheduling,payroll submissions, and time-off requests.
