AnOcean Import Supervisorisresponsible for managing the import process for ocean freight shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. This positionsupervisesa team of ocean importfreight forwardersand worksclosely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
A bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ocean import operations, including experience in a supervisory role.
In-depth knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
This position will supervise a team of ocean import coordinators.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems is required.
Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems may be preferred.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $66,528 - $83,160 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
