DSV Air & Sea Inc. is hiring an Ocean Import Supervisor to lead the import process for ocean freight. You will supervise a team of ocean import coordinators and coordinate with carriers, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely, and cost-effective shipments.

Summary

AnOcean Import Supervisorisresponsible for managing the import process for ocean freight shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. Duties and Responsibilities

Educational background / Work experience

A bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ocean import operations, including experience in a supervisory role.

In-depth knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures

Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)

This position will supervise a team of ocean import coordinators.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified Customs Broker (CCB) designation
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems
  • Knowledge of import regulations and procedures for other transportation modes (air, land)
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems is required.

Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems may be preferred.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $66,528 - $83,160 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
