Job summary

Silgan Closures, a Fortune 500 packaging company, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor at our Tolleson, AZ facility to lead 20–25 maintenance staff and safeguard continuous production. You will supervise maintenance activities, repair critical equipment, and ensure safe, cost-conscious operations across the site.

The role requires a engineering degree and 6+ years of related experience, with strong skills in mechanical and electrical systems, drawings, and schematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher is required.
• Minimum 6 years of related maintenance/engineering experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and facility operating systems.
• Ability to read facility and mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 20-25 maintenance employees and coordinate activities.
• Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure continuous quality production.
• Maintain and repair facilities to keep building in good condition.
• Apply safety and housekeeping programs for an accident-free workplace.
• Perform inventory and parts control to ensure supply efficiency.
• Perform department cost control to stay within budget.
• Manage outside contractor service for plant operations.
• Support food and product safety systems in the plant.
