The Supervisor Maintenance plays a crucial role in the development and success of the workplace by managing and leading the maintenance staff. This includes overseeing Technical Support Functions (e.g., Maintenance, Special Projects) and supporting Current Production, Product Launch, Process Launch, and PM Strategy.

Essential functions of the job include:

• PLC and HMI maintenance and troubleshooting, including ladder logic; diagnosing hydraulic leaks and performing PMs.
• Ability to read advanced electrical and blueprint schematics.
• Experience with integrated circuit troubleshooting; wiring control circuits for 5, 12, 24, and 120 volts; advanced pneumatic circuit design.
• Advanced welding skills and experience with welding tools.
• Proficiency with basic shop tools (hand tools, drills, lathes, milling machines); operation of bridge and rail cranes; drilling, tapping; circuit design and layout; pipe cutting and threading; basic pneumatic troubleshooting and repair; building maintenance (lighting, compressors, emergency lighting); conduit bending and wiring; installation and setup of motor contractors and VFDs.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety guidelines established by the company. Noncompliance may result in disciplinary action or termination. Actively intervene to correct unsafe actions and conditions.
• Conduct daily observations of PPE use and safe work practices; coach employees as needed; report all accidents, including first aid incidents.
• Oversee and approve hourly employee timecards.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Engineering, or a related field.

Required qualifications include:

• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 3-5 years of experience within the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants, which may require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
