Job summary

Rand Tower Hotel in Minneapolis, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the working order of all mechanical equipment. You will manage repairs, oversee staff and contractors, and coordinate maintenance activities to protect assets.

The role focuses on engineering operations, preventative maintenance, and delivering exceptional service to guests while supporting a growing team at a landmark property.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry.
  • Supervisory experience in a hotel maintenance context.
  • Ability to read HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to guest maintenance requests and resolves needs efficiently.
  • Assist the Director of Engineering in training and supporting staff.
  • Organizes meetings and maintains records for the Engineering Department.

This individual assists with providing oversight of the maintenance department and is responsible for ensuring the working order of all mechanical equipment as well as repair and maintenance of the property. The primary focus is on engineering operations, including maintenance, repair of hotel property, outside grounds, hotel equipment, preventative maintenance, and asset protection. This person will assist in organizing staff and contractors and oversee the completion of the maintenance needs. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.If you have experience in leading a Maintenance program and team, enjoy making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you!
