Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Last Mile Operations to lead a team, drive productivity, and ensure safe, efficient operations across our last mile network in North America.

The role focuses on coordinating activities, guiding associates, and optimizing inventory and processes to meet performance targets. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in supervision, 5+ years in logistics/transportation, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory experience
• 5 years in logistics and/or transportation; experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group performance
• Instruct associates on equipment, procedures and housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee equipment usage and adherence to safety procedures
• Manage inventory and perform merchandise reconciliation
• Assist with resolving problems to improve associate productivity

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

Compensation for this role is $70,000-75,000 annually. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As the Supervisor, Last Mile Operations at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error free.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation Experience with Microsoft Office It’d be great if you also have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

This Job Requires The Ability To

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
