Job summary

RXO is seeking a logistics supervisor in New Jersey to coordinate day-to-day activities, assign work, train associates on equipment and procedures, and oversee safety and housekeeping standards.

This role requires 2 years in supervision and 5 years in logistics, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Competitive pay in the $62k–$65k range with potential bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities.
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies.
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs.
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation.
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance.

Compensation for this role is $62,000-$65,000 annually. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
• Experience with Microsoft Office

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
