Job summary

RXO, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Last Mile Operations Supervisor to lead a team of associates, assign work, monitor safety, and maximize productivity in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role is based in Hagerstown, MD, with potential for growth and competitive pay. The position requires 2+ years in supervision and 5+ years in logistics/transportation, strong communication and math skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies.
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to safety procedures and programs.
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation.
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance.

Compensation for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 annually. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As the Last Mile Operations Supervisor at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error free.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities


• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role


• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation Experience with Microsoft Office It'd be great if you also have:


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability


• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
