Great River Health is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to provide leadership for assigned staff and oversee laboratory operations, including hiring, scheduling, and quality control. The role requires senior-level competency signing off on moderate to high complexity tests and supervising phlebotomy and other lab staff.
The position emphasizes staff development, process improvement and cross-department coordination, with a 1:00pm–9:30pm schedule and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Scheduled Hours: 1:00pm - 9:30pm
Provides supervision and leadership for assigned staff and plays an integral role in laboratory operations, including but not limited to hiring, disciplinary action, discharging, scheduling, assigning work, and recognition. Performs tests and procedures following established guidelines and predetermined criteria. Identifies problems that may adversely affect test performance and/or results and uses knowledge, critical thinking skills, and judgment to troubleshoot and resolve them. Must meet requirements to sign off moderate and high complexity competencies. Must be proficient in all Technical Specialist, Medical Technologist/Technician job duties. Must also supervise phlebotomy, lab assistants, lab courier, and other positions as assigned.
