Responsibilities

• Floor Supervision: Oversee assembly or production lines, assign daily tasks, and monitor workflow to hit output goals.
• Training & Mentoring: Participate in leadership training while helping onboard, train, and coach hourly team members on equipment and safety rules.
• Safety & Quality Compliance: Enforce OSHA guidelines, company policies, and safety regulations to maintain a clean work environment.
• Technology and Data Proficiency: Learn the production workflow, how to utilize MS Office, Syspro, RF Scanners, Shipping portals, etc to track and move products in real time; may learn Paycom for scheduling and time cards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with maintenance, quality control, and logistics, and other internal teams to resolve equipment malfunctions or bottlenecks.
• Continuous Improvement: Support lean manufacturing and process improvement projects to reduce waste and raise efficiency.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Job Details: Job Location: Multilink Inc - Elyria, OH 44035, Job Category: Manufacturing, A Supervisor in Training (SIT)’s responsibility is to learn to oversee daily shop-floor operations, inventory management, sales order/job completion, manage production staff, and enforce safety and quality standards while transitioning into a full Production Supervisor Role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Floor Supervision: Oversee assembly or production lines, assign daily tasks, and monitor workflow to hit output goals.
• Training & Mentoring: Participate in leadership training while helping onboard, train, and coach hourly team members on equipment and safety rules.
• Safety & Quality Compliance: Enforce OSHA guidelines, company policies, and safety regulations to maintain a clean work environment.
• Technology and Data Proficiency: Learn the production workflow, how to utilize Microsoft Suite, Syspro, RF Scanners, Shipping portals, etc to track and move products in real time. Utilize reporting to diagnose issues and correct discrepancies. May learn Paycom for employee schedule and time card management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with maintenance, quality control, and logistics, and other internal teams to resolve equipment malfunctions or bottlenecks.
• Continuous Improvement: Support lean manufacturing and process improvement projects to reduce waste and raise efficiency.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Work Site Environment:

• Ability to work in a 55-85-degree Fahrenheit environment.
