Position Summary
Lead the work of others who perform essentially the same work. May set priorities, schedule and review work, but have no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance and/or make pay decisions.
Essential Functions
- Perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Assess and ensure quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
- Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
- Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Education / Certification
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
