Job summary

Schedule: Weekdays and rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary

Lead the work of others who perform the same work. May set priorities, schedule, and review work, but has no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance or make pay decisions.

Essential Functions
  • Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
  • Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
  • Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assess and ensure quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
  • Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
  • Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Education & Certification
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
