PURPOSE STATEMENT: Under the direction of the Assistant Director III: Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, this position is responsible for assisting with the planning, monitoring, directing and supervising of Expanded Learning Opportunities Programs (ELOP) including After School Education and Safety Grant (ASES) at LEUSD Sites, with a focus on children in grades TK - 8th grade in a Before, Gap and After School setting; perform related work as assigned. May provide oversight when Assistant Director or Designee is out of District.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Education Required Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency is required. An Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Arts degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university is preferred, with major coursework in child/human development and/or education is preferred. Experience Required Minimum three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience leading and/or supervising the work of others in an educational environment; Minimum of five (5) years prior work experience with school aged children, and their families, in a structured setting.
