Job summary

The Saddleback Valley Unified School District is seeking an entry-level technical instructional support position in Orange County, CA to assist with the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program and oversee program activities. Work location may vary between fixed or flexible sites based on program needs.

Under supervision, you will plan and conduct activities, supervise student leaders, and ensure alignment with curriculum objectives and program philosophy for TK-8 students.

Qualifications

• Proof of CBEST, or completion of two years of college (48 units), or AA degree or higher.
• Proficiency exam in mathematics, reading and writing required before posting closing date.
• Six ECE units from an accredited college or a Child Development permit preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR cards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program.
• Plan, organize and conduct specific programs and activities.
• Provide supervision of program operations and direct student leaders.
• Direct and supervise TK-8 students in activities aligned with curriculum objectives.

Job Summary

Under immediate supervision, this entry-level technical instructional support positionassists with the operation of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program; plans,organizes, and conducts specific programs and activities; provides supervision of theoperations and gives direction to student leaders; directs and supervises TK-8 studentsin both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice, and program philosophy. Work location may be afixed site schedule or a flexible site schedule, dependent upon the needs of the program.

Requirements / Qualifications
