As a housekeeping supervisor, you will oversee a team dedicated to providing a hospital atmosphere that is clean, healthy and welcoming. Under the direction of the department manager, the supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department and employee performance. Exercises discretionary judgment in solving problems and working with employees. Uses working knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, techniques, procedures, and general principles and practices of specific support services areas.
Education: Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, required. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, preferred.
Experience:Minimum one year of leadership experience required. Three to five years of health care related preferred. Healthcare leadership experience is strongly preferred. Candidates without healthcare leadership experience who have three or more years of managerial or supervisory experience will be given consideration.
