McLaren Bay Region in Michigan is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee patient-related clinical activities during the assigned shift and ensure timely, appropriate patient placement based on needs and available resources.
The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in nursing, valid Michigan RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of clinical experience; supervisory experience is preferred.

Position Summary:Responsible for supervising McLaren Bay Region staff in performing patient related clinical activities in area of jurisdiction for assigned shift. Responsible for ensuring patient placement is timely and appropriate, based on patient need and available resources.
A. Disciplining subordinates according to Medical Center procedure.
B. Assigning work to employees and directing the workflow in area of jurisdiction
C. Resolving employee complaints/concerns
D. Conducting periodic performance appraisal interviews with subordinates if requested/assigned.
A. Assists managers/directors in relaying pertinent information to staff and reinforcing changes in policies and procedures.
B. Provides feedback to Patient Care Services Administration regarding concerns, suggestions, and/or significant events.
