Job summary

DP World, operating as syncreon, seeks an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor for the Fairburn, GA facility to lead onsite safety operations. You will drive safety performance, compliance and continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires coordinating training, enforcing OSHA and environmental standards, and working with auditors to uphold health and safety programs in a dynamic logistics environment. Onsite leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading health and safety programs in a facility or warehouse setting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and reporting.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and implement training across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, developing and administering safety training programs.
• Monitor and update safety regulations; provide technical safety support.
• Coordinate safety training initiatives to ensure OSHA/EPA/DOT compliance.
• Administer mandatory safety training for new hires, contractors and visitors.
• Enforce regulatory regulations and company policies; support EHS launches.
• Ensure audit readiness and respond to findings with auditors and vendors.
• Maintain a safe, clean workplace; contribute to safe work procedures.
• Review incident reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Recommend safety features to reduce exposure to hazards.
• Inspect facilities, machinery and equipment for hazards and compliance.
• Review plans for new equipment to ensure safety requirements are met.
• Serve on First Aid/CPR/ERT teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to plan and coordinate safety operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving safety performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the DP World team!

We Are Hiring For The Following Schedule

• 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Assist in the identification, development and administration of company safety training programs.
• Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws or reporting requirements. Providing technical safety and health support and information to all employees.
• Coordinate and administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other regulatory requirements.
• Administer mandatory environmental, health and safety training and ensure all newly hired employees, agency employees, contractors, visitors and transferred employees receive proper training.
• Assist with the enforcement of regulatory regulations and company policies.Assist with launches of new facilities in relation to EHS programs
• Ensure compliance to audit standards and work with auditors and vendors to answer findings and complaints in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Ensure employees operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment. Involved in the development of work procedures and makes health and safety recommendations accordingly.
• Review injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up as necessary.
• Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards.
• Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance. This will include property in and around the facility.
• Review plans and specifications for development of new machinery, equipment or processes to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
• Serve as a member of the First Aid/CPR Responder/ERT teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
