  • Price products per company pricing guidelines with correct tags.
  • Listen and resolve customer/donor complaints professionally.
  • Organize and clean cash wraps, behind the register area, and displays to meet daily goals.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Educate customers and the community about the mission and vision of the organization.

  • Promote a safe working environment by following and holding employees accountable for all safety policy and procedures.
  • Follow and hold employees accountable for all policies and procedures.
  • Utilize team work with other supervisors and store manager to achieve sales and round up goals.
  • Hold cashiers accountable of maintaining high quality and positive customer service, including greeting all customers within three seconds of entering the store.
  • Run the store round up campaign both personally and through employees, holding employees accountable for daily and monthly round up goals when supervising register area.
  • Answer and provide customer service for all phone calls throughout the day within three rings.
  • Help maintain sales floor colorization and rotation of stock. Also ensure cleaning procedures are followed through.
  • Provide customer service personally or through employees to all customers. Advertise verbally color of the week sale, other specials or promotions, greet customers with a smile and ask if they need assistance upon entering the store and again in the store within five feet of a customer.
  • Create a positive, courteous, and efficient experience for our donors, maintaining the “pop the trunk and we will do the rest” approach. Offer donation receipts to all donors and thank them verbally for supporting our mission.
  • Maintain donor logs and receipts while covering the dock area.
  • Ensure all product is priced according to company pricing guidelines with appropriate tags.
  • Listen and resolve customer/ donor complaints professionally and quickly.
  • Responsible for organizing and cleaning cash wraps, behind the register area, and register wall. Maintain register wall and concession displays, meeting daily goals when supervising register area.

Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

This position directly manages 6-20 full or part time, non-exempt employees. The position also has a role in the training and development of those staff, with additional responsibilities including planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

This position is responsible for the overall product flow, placement, and rotation of product.
