Serves as and responsible for all aspects of the assigned DC food safety and food quality management systems, including achieving and maintaining highest level of GFSI accreditation for food safety and quality, Food Safety Plan, cGMP, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls. Assist facility and corporate leadership in creating strategic directions and priorities for continued improvement for food safety and quality.
Manage food safety and quality standards and practices for the assigned distribution center. Identify and influence food safety and quality education and training needs. Maintain technical and process-related programs and tools to address education and training needs. Effectively integrate food safety and quality compliance prevention into day-to-day operations at multiple levels and functional areas within the Company.
Provide direct oversight and manage all aspects of the pest control program and sanitation programs within the facility, including trailer sanitation and reclaim areas.
