Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Splicer Supervisor to lead teams in the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecom plant in the Nashville area. You will review tasks, implement processes, and coordinate with employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and safety.

An associate degree or 3 years of related experience, plus supervisory experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project.
• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

A successful Splicer Supervisor shall supervise employees in the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure; familiarity with fiber optic.
