• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two years experience in Family Birth Center.
• One year Charge Nurse or equivalent experience.

• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Family Birth Center Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader, ensuring the strategic optimization and seamless execution of critical clinical functions.

Every day, you will oversee and coordinate comprehensive clinical initiatives, establishing protocols, driving process improvements, and managing resources to enhance both patient care and operational efficiency. You'll lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

To be successful, you'll combine strong clinical acumen with exceptional organizational and analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to inspire and guide your team, transforming strategic visions into tangible, positive impacts.

This job is responsible for daily operations and oversight of nursing practice and patient care delivery within an assigned area, including supervision for clinical staff, as delegated and in collaboration with the Clinical Manager/Director of the Family Birth Center. Responsible for organizing, planning, and directing clinical and management activities in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Collaborates with appropriate personnel to ensure standards of care and standards of practice of specific patient populations are current and incorporated into staff practice. Assists management in maintaining continuity and quality of patient care. Contributes to organizational operations and supports the mission by fostering interdepartmental communication/collaboration. Provides effective mentoring and acclimation of staff. Assists with administrative duties, education activities and quality initiatives.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, upon hire and

• Two years of experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty, Family Birth Center

• And, One year Charge Nurse or equivalent experience, and

• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and

• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field, upon hire

Pay Range

$58.92 - $106.24 /hour
