  • Two years of experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty.
  • One year Charge Nurse or equivalent experience.
  • Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field, upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and oversight of nursing practice within an assigned area.
  • Organize, plan, and direct clinical and management activities in line with hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure standards of care and practice for patient populations.
  • Provide mentoring, staff acclimation, and support quality initiatives.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader, ensuring the strategic optimization and seamless execution of critical clinical functions.

Every day, you will oversee and coordinate comprehensive clinical initiatives, establishing protocols, driving process improvements, and managing resources to enhance both patient care and operational efficiency. You’ll lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

To be successful, you’ll combine strong clinical acumen with exceptional organizational and analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to inspire and guide your team, transforming strategic visions into tangible, positive impacts.

This job is responsible for daily operations and oversight of nursing practice and patient care delivery within an assigned area, including supervision for clinical staff, as delegated and in collaboration with the Clinical Manager/Director of the department/unit. Responsible for organizing, planning, and directing clinical and management activities in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Collaborates with appropriate personnel to ensure standards of care and standards of practice of specific patient populations are current and incorporated into staff practice. Assists management in maintaining continuity and quality of patient care. Contributes to organizational operations and supports the mission by fostering interdepartmental communication/collaboration. Provides effective mentoring and acclimation of staff. Assists with administrative duties, education activities and quality initiatives.

This job exists in multiple locations, and while there may be minor differences in job content, they are not significant for classification purposes. Overall, the nature of the work and job requirements are consistent between locations.

Job Requirements

Required:

Pay Range

$58.92 – $106.24 /hour
