Job Overview
Facilities Manager position with responsibilities covering maintenance, safety, and coordination of facility systems at NAMSA.
Responsibilities
- Assist Facilities Manager in assuring proper security, HVAC, electrical, water, landscaping, janitorial, and other systems.
- Ensure proper maintenance and appropriate repair work for the facility, its equipment and systems, including HVAC, boilers, and water supply.
- Supervise facilities associates.
- Coordinate outside contractors related to the facility and equipment.
- Supervise all facility renovations, improvements, and maintenance, whether through department staff and/or outside contractors.
- May respond to emergency calls after scheduled working hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Assist with selection and training of facilities associates.
- May assist the Engineering Department in providing specifications to accommodate equipment add‑ons, moves, and changes, and provide routine maintenance support on selected equipment.
- Help maintain and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department; review safety records (Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out, periodic inspections, Confined Space Entry Reports) to uphold maximum safety standards for all maintenance personnel and contractors.
Qualifications & Technical Competencies
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree and/or equivalent industry/trade training (e.g., apprenticeship program) preferred.
- 3‑5 years of related experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Fluency in English and local language, if different, required.
- Knowledge of Siemens Building Automation System, Livonia, and SquareD Lighting Systems.
- Working knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, electricity, boiler systems, and HVAC.

- Employee must regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
- Employee frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Employee occasionally required to sit and lift or move up to 100pounds.

Compensation
Recommended salary range: $80,000–$90,000 annual. Compensation grade range for this position: $56,000–$109,000 annual.
Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
