Position Summary
The primary function of the Maintenance Supervisor is to oversee the maintenance and repairs of all building systems, equipment, facilities, and grounds to ensure a safe and operationally sound environment. This role supervises Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation personnel (where applicable), managing work assignments and performance. The Supervisor collaborates with local service providers, inspectors, and property asset managers to maintain the overall functional performance of the building and equipment.

Essential Functions
- Oversee daily maintenance operations
- Assess, repair, and document equipment and facility maintenance activities
- Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance for motorized equipment, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems
- Anticipate potential issues and develop preventative plans in partnership with the Facilities Manager
- Maintain parts inventory for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards
- Conduct safety training for maintenance staff
- Provide ongoing training and guidance to team members
- Manage vendor and contractor work to ensure quality and compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct supervision of Maintenance Technicians and Sanitation staff, including work assignments, performance, and training.
Working Conditions
- Moderate temperature and humidity variations
- Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to weather
- Exposure to cold, heat, dust, fumes, and noise
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform repairs physically
- Work at heights up to 40 feet
- Use power tools safely
- Navigate facilities and grounds
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 3+ years of supervisory experience in facilities/maintenance, preferably in a distribution/warehouse setting
- Experience with automated process control and material handling equipment
- HVAC knowledge
- OSHA safety regulation experience
- Welding/fabrication skills
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise; CFM certification a plus
- Technical training in electrical/electronic or mechanical fields preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills across organizational levels and vendors
