Job Summary

The Supervisor, Closing Operations manages the performance & efficiency of individual contributors within a single function. They stay close to day-to-day production and provide immediate support with file-level tasks escalations, and associate needs. They own duties where attention to detail and identifying trends will be critical to drive a great employee experience and operational efficiency. They are developing their coaching, team-building, people management, and leadership skills.

Role Description
  • Directly supervises a team of individual contributor associates.
  • Performs duties related to people management (timecard approvals, performance management, etc).
  • Oversees day-to-day workflows, supports with file-level interventions; and provides individual support on files.
  • Monitors the queues and assesses for any risks, stepping in to cover any anticipated gaps or failures in workflow.
  • Executes operational improvements quickly and efficiently based on performance metrics.
  • Provides consistent production-level updates to Senior Supervisor and Manager.
  • Supports with file-level escalations and provides updates to appropriate leadership.
  • Accountable for the achievement of performance goals for their direct reports.
  • Conducts regular 1:1s with their direct reports.
  • Provides coaching and individualized support to team members.
  • Is a critical stakeholder in recruiting and hiring top level talent; works closely with the recruiting team to provide a seamless candidate experience that represents the values of the company.
  • Fosters a team experience that manifests the company's cultural values.
  • Is a voice and advocate for the company culture; strives to create a great place to work for all employees.
Job Requirements
  • 2-5 years experience within national escrow closing functions
  • 1+ years experience in a management role
  • Mastery of a title production system – Resware preferred
  • Excellent phone, email, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills; works well with all colleagues across multiple areas of the business
  • Data-driven experience interpreting performance dashboards
  • Experience executing operational improvements based on performance metrics
  • Comfort with continuous professional development; possesses a growth mindset

Compensation

Shown below is the lowest to highest base salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the base salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Doma, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This job is also eligible for the following compensation components: Bonus.

The base salary range for this role is shown below: $72,900 USD - $89,100 USD.
